What is Nature-Based Education?
Nature-based education is a delivery model of education that incorporates nature and natural learning spaces to learn personal, social, and technical skills. Nature-based education incorporates aspects of Montessori Education, R.I.E Philosophy, Loose Parts, and Risky Play.
Nature-based play has been defined as an inspirational process that offers children regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence, strength, and social skills through hands-on learning in a natural environment.
